Description
The Daylily Art & Garden Festival will be Saturday, May 19, 10am-3pm, on the square in downtown Headland.
The festival activities will feature a Youth Art Contest and Show, a Classic Car Show, garden-related crafts like birdhouses and wind chimes, art and crafts vendors, daylilies and other plants, and farmers market vendors. Free hands-on children’s art and gardening activities will be offered inside the park.
Daylily Dash 5K & Fun Run - Wiregrass United Way will have a Daylily Dash 5K & Fun Run prior to the festival beginning. The 5K race begins at 8am and the Fun Run at 9am. Registration is begins at 7am at the gazebo.
Classic Car Show - New South Cruisers will host a Classic Car Show around the square during the festival. Registration begins at 9:30am, awards at 2:45pm.
Garden Tours - Local daylily growers Bush Gardens, located on Hwy 134 West, will also conduct garden tours throughout the day.
